Both good games and I believe were both out originally on PS3 so shouldn’t be expensive nowadays.

Some info on the games if you didn’t know:

Heavy Rain is basically a story where you watch the events unfold and make decisions/take part in quick time events (pushing buttons as they appear on the screen) that impact the story in different ways. You take control of different characters and let the story unfold. The PS4 released version of this is Detroit Become Human which is a very good game in my opinion. This looks at taking place in the future with android “humans” being the norm. 100s of different possible endings.

Last Of Us is a horror game (not scary though) that is also a compelling story but you have much more action involved through exploring and shooting. I’ve got to say that I prefer the Uncharted series (the same developer Naughty Dog) to Last Of Us but they’re still very good games. The Uncharted games are visually stunning in my opinion.

For anyone that played CoD: Modern Warfare 2 back in the day and didn’t know: they’re remastering the campaign from this game and will be releasing soon (if not already done so). I enjoyed that game a lot when I was younger but wish they were including the spec ops part too, not just the story campaign.

The Last of Us is probably the best game I've played. Heavy Rain is good but not a great deal of gameplay. The Uncharted series is really good too and if you want something to last ages then Assassin's Creed. Tomb Raider is similar style to Last of Us and Uncharted

Would second what kez said about the last of us(also my favourite game). Outstanding story telling by creator naughty dog who also made the uncharted series, which are also great games.

Also if you have time to kill check out Rockstars greatest, GTA 5 and the Red Dead Redemption games

Last Of Us Remastered is excellent, but I'd support the comments regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 or the Uncharted games as alternatives. I played both for longer overall, and it's probably Red Dead Redemption that I'll go back to in the downtime.

I'm totally hooked to the Golf Club PGA special. Never played golf in my life but it's addictive as hell.

Just done Last of Us again for about 6th time, those types of games have been poor this last year and for a PS3 game the graphics are still great on the PS4

I'm bashing Call of Duty WW2 atm, never really played much online on it like I did with all the Black Ops titles but bashing it serious now, it's a good laugh online on Shipment you'll level up at least 5/6 times a day depending on skill level.

You tried Minecraft? Thought it would be crap, but borrowed it off a mate. Strangely addictive once you get into it.

As others have said, Heavy Rain is a bit light on gameplay and might be showing its age now. The ending is very problematic, which is all I can say about that.
