You're right Helen; I think at times most of us take it for granted that we live in a pretty good country and moan about things that are essentially first world issues. When you see the way some people live, especially at times like these, it does remind one how fortunate we are.
There are going to be swathes of Africa and South Asia where the casualties will be unfathomable. It doesn't bear thinking about
