No tin hat required as far as I am concerned.
I’m no anti-royal, nor pro royal, but surely she could have dropped at least a little smile in when suggesting we look after each other.
    Very scripted and wooden.

I'd rather have a pep talk from HRH than that clown at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

That's how they roll. Remember when Diana died.? They only ever do solemn.
Harry and William were both influenced by their late Mums care and respect for
others, so in the future, things might change.

She at least thanked the " front line" re- members of the NHS and anyone
else involved in fighting the pandemic.

Missed opportunity. Was expecting her to say she was taking a 30% pay cut.

I hope in the years to come everyone will be able to take pride in how they responded to this challenge. And those who come after us will say the Britons of this generation were as strong as any. That the attributes of self-discipline, of quiet good-humoured resolve and of fellow-feeling still characterise this country. The pride in who we are is not a part of our past, it defines our present and our future.

I noted how it started with a view of her huge, stunning palace garden.
Must be a terrible place to self isolate!!!

Well it seems I'm in the minority on here, but I thought it was great, to the point, everyone thanked and a lovely 'We'll meet again' moment, compare that to a presidential address and the childlike diction and grammar used to deliver crass and insipid soundbites and I know which will inspire the most.

Bless her, she's harmless. But I bet even she realised she was actually saying nothing. Nothing we haven't already heard.
She has no actual power and sadly it showed.
No tub thumping, no shouting, just bland words, but she's been obliged to show her face.
I like her and I can put up with the royal family for the sake of what they bring to the country. The thought of a Trump is unimaginable.

As a Republican, why do you all feel the need to pay attention to these unelected ridiculous throwbacks to the past?
