Behind The Scenes | Beth Sefton Interviews Interviews with those we don't normally hear from... A very familiar face to those who attend Oakwell on a regular basis is Beth Sefton, and she's next up in our feature shining the spotlight on those working behind the scenes here at the club! I’ve mentioned this before but Beth came out with her husband in their 4x4 to tow me the other year when I’d got stuck on the muddy grass in the riding school after a game. She’d read it on here and came straight out. I’m sure there are great people working for most football clubs, but Beth is a credit to the town, the football club and football in general.
I've only spoken to Beth two, maybe three times but on each occasion she was an absolute credit to BFC. Its good to see the unsung heroes behind the scenes getting some airtime and some much deserved recognition.
Beth's annoying as hell. I love to criticise Barnsley FC bu she's the one person that there just isn't anything is there. All you hear is brilliant story after brilliant story. She's a true credit to the club
Top dollar that Beth. You and the rest of the back room staff do a great job. I have nothing but praise for all of you. ( yes she reads bbs) I have dealt with some if not most of the staff over the years. Centenary. Tickets. Fan engagement. Poy ( Hoyland reds) etc On a regular basis. And it costs nowt to be civil in what sometimes can be a thankless task. COYR.
Except the carpark attendants. They deserve abuse after games for us. Had they tried a bit harder we might have scored more goals
Does a great job and always goes the extra mile for our fans (as mentioned already in this thread!). Best of luck with quitting smoking Beth!
For years I had seen references to "Beth", at the club, usually from Andy White in his Podcasts,so it was lovely to finally discover more about her. All football clubs have people like Beth and other members of the team, they do a great job, often unseen. I hope they do one with the Grounds Staff, that would be interesting as well.
Yes get Netflix or Amazon on to it as it will be more interesting than the Sunderland and Man City ones I have seen. Beth is great and has a brilliant team who always try and help you out where they can. Other parts of the club have always split opinion between good/bad but that's one part of the club that's always had a positive response and rightly so.
She used to frequent the mount pub and always spoke to her when I got chance . She really is a credit to the club and a lovely woman.
