    MOT due 18 May - can it be deferred ?

    If test done successfully say in September will certificate be back dated to 18 May?

    Always gone to MOT testers on Worsborough Road Stairfoot - are they and others closed??

    I would imagine the new MoT will last a further 12 months.

    While your on about cars does anyone know any decent garages that will be open tomorrow? Went shopping yesterday and on way home exhaust started mekin a reyt racket. Had a quick look and was leaking as well as the racket. Need to get it sorted ASAP

    My Mrs' car is due it's MOT towards the end of the month, and her tax is due two days after. It still says it's due on the gov website, and it can't be taxed until it's got an MOT certificate.

    On or around the 18th, your current MOT will extend for 6 months. Keep checking online you’ll see it happening.
