I went to smithies last week they stopped you on the road and said essential waste only, grey and green bin waste. I did have some cardboard but a fair bit of non recyclable, on emptying the car I told an operative I would take it home but he just told me to throw it in the cardboard skip. Just take some non recycling waste and you should be ok.

I thought essential waste was the perishable stuff that goes in your grey bin so why are they only taking that?
