I know, soz, just happened to pop out and spotted it, missed most of it! Next pass at 11:41. https://inews.co.uk/news/science/in...-tracker-iss-uk-may-2020-watch-tonight-501513
There’s another pass at 23.41 there’s also a chance that we may see the supply ship following it. That should pass us at 10.48 as it’s currently about 40 minutes behind.
For those interested in the Cummings and goings of the ISS, it's due to make a pass over Durham at 10:07 this evening.
Well it might not be EXACTLY over Durham, but it will be near enough. 6 minutes viewing time in total
The ISS is currently (21:53) over the Caribbean. It will be arriving here in 14 minutes. It takes about 9 hours on a plane. Wow!
If that's the case, why don't they use one all the time....would make jet lag on Carribean holidays a thing of the past
Good idea. It would also make it possible to travel from London to Durham in about 3 minutes, greatly reducing the chances of being spotted.
Seems that if you are the right person you can take as long as you want and you still remain invisible
It was! I followed it on a live map too, when it finally disappeared from view it was approaching the Black Sea, a couple of thousand miles away. The scale and speeds involved are frightening!
