    he’s already admitted he got no help with the child. He drove 250 miles just so his sister could shop for him. His wife’s family in London, and the people who work for him must really hate him.

    I agree about the sympathy vote. He hasn't got a lot more wriggle room. He could also play the 'please have mercy - I made a mistake but was worried about my child' card. Other than that he could lie about something that no one has yet picked up on. There has never been a case of thIs Government lying though has there so I doubt that will happen.

    There are too many holes in the story for any kind of logic to apply. This is below the belt and desperate.
    How many of us have siblings, partners, children and parents with underlying conditions or ailments who need support?

    Also this and previous Tory governments have treated neurodivergent individuals terribly for the past decade. It would be extremely sickening to be lectured by someone connected to the people who brought us sanctions and degrading employment fitness evaluations under universal credit and the removal of Remploy.
