Noticed today that there’s been a massive spike in online beers sales which is brilliant. In some instances over 2000% up!! I’m guessing that this will be mostly craft beer as you can go to off licence for your cheap fix of foster/carling/John smith stuff(nothing against foster/Carling by the way. I’ve ordered from bottle & co in Mapplewell a few times over lockdown. Usually order stuff from Beers if Europe or Beerhawk but over lockdown found these to be mostly sold out. Rather shop local anyway so will deffo use Bottle & Co again. Also been told about one in Elsecar heritage centre. Look to have a decent range of stuff, anyone been there before?

Online sales are up massively for most breweries that have managed to turn on the delivery functionality. North Brew Co were delivering by bicycle around Skipton and within three miles of the brewery for a while too. Doesn't even touch the sides of what volume has been lost with the pubs being closed though.

Definitely have a search around Yorkshire breweries that are offering free delivery or bundle deals on boxes.

Also, ignore any reports that say 'Britain is drinking more since lockdown'. We're not at all. Beer volume is down and the newspapers keep reporting supermarket growth for click bait benefits or an anti-alcohol agenda. Every brewery in the UK is struggling right now, which is why supporting small, independent or local is more important than ever.

Aye, I order from Thornbridge. They even have had to create a job for an e-commerce manager because of the astronomic demand they have had.

Agree mate, I don’t think we’re drinking more, just more at home.

You can also collect from the brewery, it's in the old Shaw Carpets site.

Couple of weeks ago I had beer delivered to my front door "straight from the tank" from Stancill Brewery. Got Barnsley Bitter and an IPA called No. 7. (Don't think its owt to do with the pub in town.)
All good delivered free of charge to post codes starting with "S".

    Anyway, good fresh beer.

Maison in the Heritage has a great range of beers and prices, plus 8 on draught and a few draught ciders. Prices of the draught are cheaper than usual too but take your own canister (plastic milk bottle, pop bottle etc) as they keep running out of theirs as demand is high. Best to go Thurs or Fri as Saturday can be busy.....only 2 in the shop at a time.

They do free local delivery or online but range not as big as in the shop.

    Open Thurs - Sat 3pm - 6pm.

I'm going to ask for commission ;)

I’ve had a couple of deliveries from Turning Point Brewing Co, based in Knaresborough I think. They do some cracking beers

Haven’t used Bottle & Co yet but planning on getting my next order from there. After that I’m aiming to try Craft Metropolis - in London but owned & run by a Barnsley lad.

Thanks bud, if you like quality, you’ve got to pay a bit more. Had a Juice Forsyth before, very nice, love the names of some then.

Correct mate. Turning Point bought the old Rooster's brewery recently.

Yep, it’s my favourite mate, I’ve bought quite a few pouches of safari extra, it pours quite flat out of the pouch but a couple of blasts with a syringe puts a decent head on it,
