    I'd lent my clippers to my ex-brother in law years ago, and when I went to retrieve them from my wife's sister the other week, it turned out that he'd lost all the attachments except number 2. So it was either that or straight blades. I went with number 2 and have decided that I actually quite like it. My missus doesn't enjoy doing it though, she's absolutely petrified that she'll slip and then it would be just the blades to tidy it up!

    When i first shaved my head in my early 20s my mum forgot to add the attachment and shaved a huge chunk out of the side!! Had to go down to a 1 I think to make it less obvious!

    She was absolutely mortified. I couldn't stop laughing.

    I use clippers without any attachments. Just right over and down to the wood.

    Make sure you don't catch the sack if you're shaving around the wood, or it will look something like the lift scene in The Shining! :D:D

    Fortunately I had mine cut in the week before lockdown but now its starting to annoy me - I think at some point I will need to let Mrs F attack it with the scissors but holding out for a bit longer yet
