Nope, from Tarn but when I created the account I named it after the College I was attending at the time
Nudge you call Mansfield a scab town as though you are against people that went back to work but the people that went back to work where backing a Tory government, a party you agree with. I just can not understand you, you really are a wind-up merchant.
I know, I know. Must stop feeding the Troll. I still can't work out if Nudger is an absolute **** or a WUM. Or maybe some combination of the two.
As others have alluded to, you're swimming in very murky waters when it comes to cops in America. Did you hear about the black jogger murdered by the ex cop and his son recently? Took police more than two months to charge them and only after sudden widespread, international social media attention caused outrage. I won't share the video as I thought I might be sick when I saw it (just realised the report is shared by @thetykester above)
I'm not putting you on ignore. Comments like the ones you've made on this thread should be challenged not ignored.
Thing is Churt ........ people like you who lose the debate and are reduced to calling someone like Wilko a WUM ........ are actually trying to WIND UP that person by calling them a WUM. So it’s not the initial WUM that’s a WUM it’s the WUM calling the person a WUM that’s the actual WUM. When it all boils down to it it’s a WUM diddly ding dong - ding dong.
While I agree with the sentiment of this thread. Police brutality and an accepted shoot first, ask questions later attitude in America is so completely wrong, I really hate how instead of the reports Beng that police have unlawfully killed a man they all say police kill a BLACK man. Wtf? There's nothing to say his race was a factor. Nothing at all. He was killed because America is ******* weird and police shoot at will not because he's black. For example the officer who killed him by sitting on his neck has previously killed a white suspect too and the other officer involved is an ethnic minority himself.
You're right. The whole country's psyche of immediate recourse to guns and violence is scary. However, can you imagine being a black person being pulled over by a police car over there? I think I'd be terrified.
If I was any man (or woman) I'd be terrified. Police in America kill so many people of all races. It's not a black versus white issue it's a shoot first ask questions later issue. 1268 white people killed by us police since 2016, 698 black people. Obviously there are more white people in America than black but the figures do show that regardless of race they will happily shoot you. You also have to remember how many police officers are black, especially in the town's with a higher black concentration where a lot of the shootings happen and realise that in many cases you're taking about black officers shooting black people. It just worries me greatly that instead of focusing on the big issue of police brutality in general and a tendency to shoot one sight people and the media try to find an angle to make the story juicer and in doing so they are focusing on the wrong issue meaning nothing actually changes.
Other than the fact they keep doing it at an alarming rate. If you’re a police ‘suspect’ in the States, you’re far more likely to be killed if you’re black. pretending that’s not true is just lazy racism pretending to be something else.
The numbers are pretty disproportionate. If you scale up 698 deaths in proportion with the racial demographic it would be around 4,100 white deaths.
