    What Gove did today, or should I say didn’t do, was absolutely shocking. He showed total disregard and an extreme lack of respect for the the Bishop of Leeds. He should be absolutely ashamed of himself, although I doubt he will be. The Tories have really nailed their colours to the mast over the last week, and if people cannot see this and be worried then there is no hope for some.

    Just a couple of things. Cummings has broken lockdown rules There is no way to report that impartially. I know there are some government ministers who don’t agree but that doesn’t change the facts. They also refused to appear on the program to put their balanced view.
    Maitlis has been just as critical of labour in the past
    Laura Kuenssberg has many times tweeted or broadcast government stories with no counter balance even at the weekend she was broadcasting Cummings innocence and quoting facts in his favour that have subsequently changed, and broke the law herself by publicising postal results in favour of the Tories on Election Day yet gets no sanction.

    How do you explain that

    The colleagues have said that she has refused to appear on the programme - not that she wasn't allowed.

    Makes me like her even more tbf.
