Left side completely useless. Hand Leg Hearing worse than right Sight worse than right Two footedness a great bonus in football. Think it was macca who said concentrating on the bad foot was a main part in training. May as well cut mi left leg off. Except it props mi up. Left hand came in useful when YOUNGER. For one thing only. You decide.
Right handed, but I use a knife and fork the wrong way round and I pour the kettle left handed (unless I'm filling a hot water bottle). Right wing for football, left wing for politics.
Doesn't it have something to do with eye dominance? I am left eye dominant but right handed. I bat left-handed, write right-handed, kick a ball instinctively with my right leg and eat with fork in right hand.
I write with my right hand, because was forced to at school, but can also write left handed. Play Pool etc right handed, Tennis etc left, Cricket bat right handed but throw left handed, tools I use amcertain hand with certain tools and my right peg is for standing on.
I'm similar - I play most of my sport right handed because that's how I was taught/coached but my accuracy is actualy better left handed just don't have the strength and correct movement to switch. And knife and fork right handed, spoon left handed.
Left handed and footed for most things, but orthodox at batting and cutlery holding. Left handed for shooting, but ought to be right handed re eyesight.
I’m right handed except for firing a bow and arrow, also in my footballI got days my left foot was very handy for standing on while I kicked the ball with my other one!
I'm left handed. Eat right handed with knife and fork, can't play the piano with either hand, I could try my right hand for other things and imagine it's someone else doing it but even that is now becoming a waste of time and effort. I've got TrickyWoo's equivalent of Flop Bot.
In depth discussion of who is left or right handed on the BBS. What springs to mind is this - does anyone stare out of the window watching the grass grow ???
Yes. I do. I find it helps to free up your mind when you have to deal with stuff that's pretty complicated. Gives you clarity of thought. You should give it a try some time.
Left handed writing, kicking a ball, playing an instrument. Right handed eating, throwing a ball, holding a bat, racquet etc. I always thought I was weird being a bit left handed and a bit right handed. Seems I am not alone. I reached a point where I was pretty good writing with either hand because I broke my left arm multiple times as a kid and had to sit my mocks writing with the "wrong" hand because my left was in a sling.
I was going to write a reply about that but couldn’t be bothered. My right eye doesn’t work very well and so I’m much better at catching with my left hand (I didn’t make the connection of why for far too long), play shooting arcade games (where you have to line up the sight) left handed, go over styles the opposite way apparently when out walking and use SLR etc. cameras to my left eye. It took me until my 20s to realise why though as I have no sight problems at all when using both eyes together (although my right eye has been rubbish forever) so I just never think about it, any action is just automatic.
