I dont need mine back, ive kept it in my pocket cos i dont trust the ownership. Hope im proved wrong.
Yep me too lets say were all in together . Thats why i had a season ticket for years when the Crynes were in charge. Proper fans .
Was just replying to the OP with this reply when it disappeared: I of course saw the 'Today, Tomorrow, Always' messaging last week and have been reflecting on it since. On one hand I remain angry with our owners about a) how they weakened rather than strengthened the team this season imo and b) poor communications and lack of contrition about how the dogmatic following of their transfer policy has caused a). On yet on the other hand I love this club and want to help ensure its survival. Yesterday afternoon I talked to my son (we're both ST holders) and we decided that helping it survive was most important and so we were going to renew. This article and our owners concerns about the "potential failure of their enterprise" don't inspire confidence that I'm making the right decision! My sense is that our owners are doing what they can to increase income for next season and to support that the messaging is designed to have maximum impact but what if that's not the case and we are in trouble. Do we stump up £500 between us, knowing that we might lose it?
its been merged into another post. The one by RedRum "I don't know if this has already been posted" they do it all the time to me.
It stems from selling all our defence. One or two we could swallow, but they showed no ambition to keep us in the championship right from us being on the verge of promotion.
Firstly - thank for clarifying where it went and moving my post in this thread. I know what you're driving at, I have to make the decision based on my circumstances. Tbh we can afford to pay it and so we probably will. But I will be pissed off and even more upset with our owners if it later transpires that they asked fans for more knowing that the future of the club was at serious risk. Seriously hope it's them trying to apply pressure on the EFL. But if that is indeed the case then it again (for me at least) calls into question their integrity.
Like has been said in the thread "charlton" with lyle taylor out for the remainder hull in free fall and luton close by and we still have to play I'd rather the club concentrated on finishing the season. I agree with the point they make about Wednesday and derby but I saw this as a separate thing trying to get parachute payments.
