    This is from London today.

I wonder how many of these protestors are teaching staff or ranted about Cummings mysterious car journies. Or at risk groups.

You are telling me that its find to ram a park in London because a bloke got topped 5000 miles away by the police but the No7 cant open its doors...

Chester Zoo are in trouble because the government say they have to be shut indefinitely even though it's an outdoors business and easy to control numbers. Yet people can waste our own police time protesting against something that happened thousands of miles away without social distancing.

Time for social distancing to stop.

Do you care about the lack of Social distancing here, Or are you more concerned that they are protesting about the abhorrent incident in the USA?

Can you tell from that photo if they're socially distanced or not?

I would guess it’s more to do with people standing up about causes. The lack of Social distancing And breaking any lockdown rules is the only reason I disagree with this.

Didn't the government effectively give Two fingers to the general public when the supported one of their own when he ignored the lockdown instructions which he had helped to develop. Can you blame people for ignoring government instructions when they have sanctioned this themselves.

I am not saying that I agree with ignoring very sensible instructions but there is a very well publicised precedent.

Its difficult but LBC had a reporter at the event and he said that while some social distancing was being observed on the edges of the protest there was none whatsoever in the core group.

To me, Cummings effectively raised his middle digit to the fabulous NHS staff plus the fabulous general public & said fck you.

I just think they’re are playing right into their hands, albeit on a very valid cause. Stand at the bottom of the interchange in Tarn between 7:00-7:30 am countless groups of construction workers walking from car park over the bridge.

i find it interesting that you’ve chosen a protest over this incident rather than any other mass gathering to highlight your point.

I’d be more inclined to replace the word interesting with typical

It's only the same as people on the beaches sunbathing in the 100s but these people are protesting. The lockdown is a joke especially when a government adviser can travel the other side of the country and not get sacked.

It’d be an interesting thread if Cummings had broken the rules to travel to The No 7!

Less than 24 hours since OP said that BAME communities are disproportionately affected because chicken shops were open completely unchallenged by anyone on here.
Now has a problem with this protest after calling for schools to be reopened, described a busy park and beach as probably fine because people probably generally kept to themselves, said that lockdown set a dangerous precedent, posted a lot about exiting lockdown over a month ago.
He even said that lockdown would see protests (I expect he pictured a different type of attendee at the protest, like the one organised in the same park by Britain First’s Jayda Franson a month ago, which he strangely didn’t mind in his response to the topic??)
