    They are wearing a badge which thanks the NHS as well. Also as much as the NHS workers deserve praise, I do feel other keyworkers have been massively underappreciated during this pandemic.

    Whilst I have no issues about the FA taking the opportunity to support this campaign, I find it a tad amusing that this is allowed, yet the wearing of a poppy wasn’t and also in general the FA are not exactly known for taking a very strong stance towards Racism.
    Hopefully this will be the start.

    Yes that's the difference. The FA have always allowed and encouraged the wearing of the poppy in domestic games, it is FIFA who have rules against national sides displaying political messages (which is what they considered the poppy) during international matches.
