    His spoken English isn’t good enough for a live interview, which is when he pointed me in Souza’s direction, but said he could write answers much better

    Not at all! I probably only know Brian Howard to say hello to and that's through someone else.

    Connected with Anderson through Instagram. Others have been contacts of contacts, Twitter, even LinkedIn, or just searching for their e-mail on Google if they have a job at a soccer school or something. Doug at the Chronicle has helped as well.
