    Do you know what their wing shape was as we have Typhoons, Hawks, F35 Lightning and the Americans have the F15. You could probably do some recognition through those.

    It seemed a triangular shaped back with a thin fuselage to front I think !

    Are we doing to have to do an aircraft recognition course on here as well as everything else ?
    If it it looked a bit triangularish at the back they were probably Typhoons, maybe from Coningsby. Did you see two small winglets forward of the triangular thing near the pointy bit up front?

    Love going to watch the jets doing the Mach loop in Snowdonia, especially when the Americans are training at Valley on Anglesey with the big F15's, loads of vids on YouTube if anybody's interested.

    Yes, I knew Paul quite well. I've no idea what's become of him. Last time I saw him we went together in his car to our play off final in Cardiff. Most of that journey I had my eyes shut and buttocks clenched in extreme terror as we exceeded 100 mph most of the way.
