Like I said sneer and ridicule just because you couldn't possibly feel that way because youre perfect in everyway. It may not be a rational fear it may not be warranted in reality but that doesn't mean it's not there.
Of course I'm not perfect in every way. I just don't judge people by the colour of their skin. I don't understand how this concept is so difficult. If that makes me a bad person then so be it.
Neither do I but it doesn't stop me recognising that some people are worried by change that they believe they have no control over. It may not seem rational to you but it does to them.
I see we've got to this level. The only response would be that it's even more ridiculous to suggest that a brown person can't be racist. And if you're throwing around phrases like 'cognitive dissonance' (well done you), you ought to know it's bear not bare
The deal was - we installed a load of Indian immigrants to run the Empire in Africa, in turn they treated the local population even worse than we had. So we were duty bound to offer them protection when the Ugandans sought retribution.
Redhelen is correct. BLM isnt a political party. Its a politicised movement with defined aims it wishes to achieve through protest and lobbying. BLM in America is an incorporated entity, has no actual manifesto and until recently as massive percentage of funds donated have been spent on wages and costs of the BLM staff.... In the states it falls under the banner of the Movement for Black Lives. Part of the reason this organisation was created was to distance themselves away from the Ferguson riots and the negatively viewed connotations from the same. (same leadership) They have a manifesto. https://m4bl.org/policy-platforms/ BLM UK is a different kettle of fish. Theres no figurehead, no known leadership, no transparency, the only ones you can find are linked to historic protests, predominately white and include a woman banned from a recent Labour party conference due to her views on Israel! BLM UK have got £1M from this funding run and there is at least 200 further BLM affiliated funding requests through crowd funding alone. There is no vetting as to what the end recipient does with the money once the funding target has been achieved. For example, the recent Anti Brexit/ Boris Johnson court case that was crowd funded. The bloke spent it on his rent.
