Well my i-follow link just had final whistle at half 3, is that me doing something wrong? but the thankyou is to B F C after months of deliberation, they finally persuaded me not to renew. That was without a doubt the worst performance i've seen in 30 years. There were plenty in previous 30 years of watching but when the team is supposed to fighting against relegation I didn't see an ounce of urgency and the only damp on foreheads came from the rain shower, and why in heavens name have they started with the stupid playing out from the back?
Get realistic. Cos suddenly we were going to steamroller every team in the division. We picked up a point against the odds, earlier in the season that would have finished 3 nil to them.
Just giving my own opinion not try to steamroller anybody else into thinking the same. Everybody that knows me know i have been going downhill with my enthusiasm since the buy young develop sell on bugger taking the club forward system was brought in,
Ah you mean, keep the club financially solvent rather than lose money every season and end up with no club. As for the young side that went unbeaten at home for a full season, which hammered your enthusiasm?
And the result of last season has been debated as many times as the previous promotion season after which no investment was made either.
for me that team is missing a higgy type player, an attacking midfielder, just to force things and not tippy tappy
Admittedly we weren't much going forward but seems a tad of an overreaction? I've been going on a consistent basis about 15 years and I can think of many, many worse games than today. But I try not to. Surely people can remember when we lost to Millwall a couple of seasons ago? We had 5 attackers on the pitch, it was snowing/freezing all game and we were very poor all over the pitch. Now THAT was a horrible game.
I can remember losing at home to Charlton 6 0 and the team was cheered off at the end and not sarcastically lol
Agree 100%..... It's games like wev just witnessed where one moment of magic is enough to settle it. Wev relied on Woodrow for those moments more recently but when he's off it there is nobody else.
To be fair it was very obvious Millwall were closing us down everywhere on the field, I commented on it several times they just thwarted any chance to get going which is credit to them. hopefully Tuesday will be more free flowing and we can beat a man, Mowatt’s dead ball needs to improve I think Chaplain will start ahead of Simoes and we’ll be at em.
