He is, you are right. That said we've done the double over Fulham, should have beat WBA and only slipped up in the last quarter vs Leeds, all better footballing sides than Blackburn. Dack is not playing too. Adam Armstrong may come back to haunt us. I hope not. I see this as a must win game, if we are to stay up. Agreed it won't be easy, but we generally do better against teams that come out to give us a game.
Millwall are play off contenders too and we held our own, hopefully the game will be a better spectacle tonight.
I don’t think if we lose tonight that that’s it tbh. It just makes a difficult situation very difficult imo .
I know it's an obvious statement, but teams that can't score goals always struggle. Making a team solid defensively is, I would argue, a relatively easy part of the manager's job. So we have to hope we can sneak it 1-0. If they score first, I fear we may as well watch the telly.
Blackburn have left a couple of goalscorers on the bench and it looks like just Armstrong up front, so i would be expecting a tactical battle, probably Rovers being defensive and looking to break/ counter quickly in the first phase, but the game could get stretched in the last phases if we bring on Chaplin and they bring on the likes of Danny Graham.
