I’m pretty sure Boston went into admin at half time on the last game of the season when they were getting relegated from League Two, mind you Boston was run so badly for a few years when Steve Evans was the manager.
I've played around with the league table and added in the 12 point deduction. I think this is basically where we stand right now with that in play?
I thought that. There is a strong likelihood looking at their fixtures they will stay up anyway the form they're in.
Yes. They have. The rules and regulations of the efl state that any club going into administration tommanage finances are acting outside of fair financial rules and will be subject to a 12 point deduction. Which the efl have confirmed will be applied, if they end up in the relegation zone this season without the deduction (unlikely) they’d apply it to next season; if not, it is deducted from this season’s tally.
Good, we were only commenting on here when they signed Moore about the money they've spent with **** crowds.
When a new owner buys the club from the Administrator, he has to agree to take on any debt to to an associated Football League club. Therefore, provided the club is bought from an Administrator, and there is no guarantee in these Covid times that it will, the new owner will provide the funds to pay the debt as part of his purchase obligations. The guarantee does not extend to other debt..
i think im ready it wrong. if they finish 9 above us which they r now will 12 point deduction apply then to go below us
If they stay up, they get 12 this season. If they go down anyway, a deduction would be meaningless and so it applies next season.
You’re over-complicating it. If they finish in the relegation zone, the point deduction happens next season. If they finish outside of the relegation zone, a 12 point deduction is applied to the final table.
