Am I correct in saying that technically he’s back at Oakwell now?

No news from the club, but hopefully we decline to extend with Hull. Although it’s one less sizeable wage to pay though I guess......

There's nothing to negotiate with a relegation rival surely?

    He's just gone to Hull.

They've "triggered the option" of buying him.

Signed for hull permanently. Assuming he can’t play till this season ends, does anyone know how much the figure is?

Did we have a way out of that? Mental decision, both back in Jan and now

    Never mind

Barnsley's Mallik Wilks makes a permanent move to Hull. Understand he can play in the Tigers' remaining games this season.

    I would have thought not.

It'll be something like the option of buying him after the season end - I.e. June 30th. As much as I think our board are wnkers, they couldn't envisage that football would still be played by this time

If he scores 1 winning goal for them and we go down by a point, we know what to blame. If Wigan stay up by a point, we know who to blame for Moore's goals.

Mental to sell to your direct rivals in the league.

I wonder if they ever did pay for Angus? Surely we've got that in first

Anyone who thinks we should keep him and not take the cash in this climate wants to give their head a wobble :)

Quite frankly he was poor at the best and Has been part of Hulls demise. It was quite clear he didn’t fit into Struhber’s plans. According to reports. By the man himself.
If they had an option to buy. Then it’s only the same as us having an option to extend Mowatts contract.

Wigan knew exactly what they were doing. IMO. By going into administration when they did. Believing they are on a roll and will escape relegation regardless of points deduction.

This wages lark at Wigan. Whoever takes over. has to honour The contracts of the players if they can’t get shut. Don’t know if they’ve a buyer lined up but it’ll certainly not come cheap. The administrators have to get the best for the creditors. If not. they go bankrupt I guess.

That’s why when we went into admin. We were still having to pay £10,000 per week. To Mike Sheron. No other club would take him off our hands on those wages. Leaving on a free I believe. At the end of his contract.

I think it unfair to blame Wilks for their demise. They lost key players in January who werent adequately replaced.

Didn’t say he was solely responsible Helen. He has been part of it.
He was awful for us. His only decent game Fulham at home. I’m certainly not sad to see him go. Stendel stood by him too long at the expense of others in the squad. Played 10 games too many in my eyes. I only let him off with the other 4 after the first. To give him a chance.
