Yep - whooosh - thats definitely the sound of someone fly fishing.
I gave a reason for my team selection - I’m asking for theirs.

I suspect he was being sarcastic.

    Drop Mowatt & Brown .

Them two, Woodrow & Sollbauer are the four who have to start every game for me

    Yep.
Definition of Sarcasm - hostility disguised as humour.
Merde - nothing constructive to say - just hostility.

I apologise. I should have stayed out of this thread. You're fully entitled to suggest we drop Brown and Mowatt.
I just made the mistake of biting because of the irony of someone who repeatedly tells us how intelligent he is and how the rest of us can't use their brains and are sheep is incapable of detecting sarcasm.

Id agree with Woodrow and Sollbauer - but I’d add a few more to that list.
As far as Brown and Mowatt goes - i just can’t see what some people see in these two.
Brown - has the speed but is so wasteful especially in front of goal.
Mowatt - runs around a lot but dosen’t have that extra yard of pace - passes often go astray and is very wasteful in front of goal.
Both these players would have to really up their game to get into my starting 11.

    Firstly:
    You say ‘I apologise’.
No you don’t - that’s the use of sarcasm again.

    Secondly:
You say ‘tells us how the rest of US can't use their brains’.
No - I tell YOU and people like you about their inability to think as an individual and not just reinforce the views of what others are saying.

I would definitely consider Halme at the base of the diamond. He has three (crucial) goals from a defensive position. One less than Jacob has scored this season from up front. I do think Brown should start though.

I'd keep the same team with the form they're in. Struber was in Morrisons last night, looked like he was getting some ale for the journey.

I'd actually agree with most of that team. I'd swap Mowatt for Schmidt. Mowatt does a lot of ball winning and gets in the face of the opposition. He can keep closing down for 90 minutes. Not seen much of Schmidt but from what I have seen he looks a bit off the pace. More useful as as a sub.

Thank foook we have some on here that use the message board to actually discuss things - instead of using this message board to relieve their tedious lives by throwing insults at others.

Not seen anything from Schmidt in the games he’s played in . Looks a bit lightweight , off the pace and never in the game .

If that’s what you believe I’m doing - then ignore my posts - and if there are means of blocking me on this message board then you need to do that.
I don’t want to be discussing things on here with people that think I’m either trying to wind them up or I’m fishing for some sort of ulterior motive.

Gotta be honest and say, I don’t necessarily agree with the selection but can see why someone might propose it with the exception of Schmidt. Just not seen enough from him to justify a starting place.

The reason I put Schmidt in there is this:
We haven’t seen a lot of Schmidt but what we have seen he seems to be one of those players that go unnoticed and then suddenly pops up with a goal.
He looks like a natural goal scorer.
With Woodrow and Chaplin either side of him with a back up of Styles and Thomas I believe that a lot more opportunities to score would be generated.
IMO - far more opportunities created than having Brown and Mowatt in the side.

I think in the right set up in Schmidt there is a player, but I just don’t see him and Woodrow in side together, I’d rather one or other with Brown and Chaplin (in that team) there would be some serious pace in that side then.

If I perceived a bit of gentle ribbing as hostility every time anybody ribbed me gently, I'd have been in more conflicts than the US Army.
