    UPDATE ON THE WILLIE FERRY STORY: I had another brief exchange with him this morning and he agreed that Clarke had to get the big earners of the wage bill (ie our experienced forwards) so ended up with young lads like him, Chandler and Foreman trying their best. With this in mind its cruel what some have said about him being "the worst ever" and the like. Luckily he has not asked for a link to this board and I hope he hasn't found it! He also confirmed it was Allan Clarke who has dementia - my fault for misreading his comments.

    One other shocking revelation - I don't know when it happened but a sepsis infection caused him to lose his left leg. He says he's fine now though :eek:
