Just been a bad day at the office completely today, no excuses. Just put it right midweek. Our fight continues, we are not out of it yet, prove the negative squad on here wrong, who will be rubbing their hands at a good old whinge, probably glad we have lost so they can slate the board again.. Ah well. You reds!
T to be fair, I feel it’s a case of it’s not the losing it’s the manner in losing. It’s been clueless, spineless and error ridden against an opposition that was on its knees before today
It shows that in football you're only as good as your last result! If results are favourable tomorrow as well we're still in with a chance.
Face palm time @SuperTyke. No just refuse to give up before the fight is over.. They were bad yes but just ready for the complete meltdown on here..
I think there were also plenty of positive posts after the last few games. It’s reactions relative to the performances. It’s particularly frustrating today as a lot of the great work we’d done in the last 3 games has been undone in 45 minutes by getting hammered by a relegation rival in a 6 pointer.
Not moaning calling it like it is we've been ***** all season and been ***** today, the thing annoying most fans is it was all so utterly predictable because of the boards recruitment and retention policy last summer they set the club up to fail and it's no surprise it as.
I think we are out of it now Even if we beat Wigan and Luton (big if), unless results go our way it doesn't really help. We needed to bring Stoke back in to it. This will do them the world of good and us the opposite
Well pick yourself up then and put it right. But I really do think some folk on here would prefer us to be relegated just so they can have a go at the owners. Judge the players on how we react in the next match.
I'm in no way a habitually negative poster, but this has been the worst performance of the season in a game that it was vital just not to lose. Absolutely everything that's gone wrong throughout the pre-lockdown season was present in spades today. Like I said in my post earlier, I feel sorry for the guys on the pitch. They've done so well over the past three games. But they have very nearly thrown that away by making the same old mistakes. They've handed an awful Stoke team four goals on a silver platter. I hope we can come back from this, but it really was so poor. I suppose this is where Struber really earns his coin. And criticising the board in no way makes anybody a bad fan. This team has, at times, been one of the worst I've ever seen in the Championship. But I don't dislike them at all, which is in marked contrast to previous teams that have gone down. They might, in fact, be one of my favourite squads. I may not rate a couple of these players, but I like almost all of the them. It's simply not their fault. I think the fans deserve better, I think the manager deserves better, and I think the players deserve better.
I think it's more of us having got the rub of the green against QPR, Millwall and Blackburn (first half), and then having exposed the same old problems today. The first 3 goals were all avoidable. The fourth was the type of goal a team 3-0 down concedes. We aren't good enough to stop in this division.
I agree that we have to move on asap, but we were arseholed by a dreadful side - I don't care about big names or wages, they were down with us for a reason and they've smashed us with little effort in both games this season. It's worrying, not to mention embarrassing. If we beat Luton then great, potentially back in it. I don't have much confidence after that though, even though Luton have just been battered too.
You can’t mean today’s result was utterly predictable considering What had gone on previously at both clubs since returning from lockdown.I was hopeful and fairly confident of getting a point, but no- one could’ve predicted that shambles of a first half.
