We also moved him in to the Number 10 role second half vs. Blackburn :)

And we drew blanks vs. Millwall :)

Great dummy dropping deep for the opener at QPR though :)

    how is my opinion rubbish?

the last time we were crap in this division the clamour to drop Davies was astronomical. Ironically Walton was the man championed by many. It won’t matter which goalkeeper is picked when the team can’t defend in front of him.

It's rubbish in that you replied to me and it doesn't relate to me. Tell me when I've ever said Collins wasn't the best option in goal.

In two minds about Simoes. Defo some raw talent there but think the championship this season is a bit above him. Don't forget we picked him up well down the football pyramid.

If we stay up, I'd like to see him out on loan at league 1 level to develop. If we are relgated, then think he will come on leaps and bounds for us as part of the squad.

Definitely like to see Odour get a start on the left, along with Styles playing central behind a top 2 of Chaplin and Woodrow.

He was a class apart in the u23s so surely will be a a pivotal part of the team in league 1?

so many players went missing today in terms of decision making, energy and basics like passing and movement. I don't envy Struber his team selection for Luton. Have we got a half decent tall striker in the U23s? We are crying out for a different attacking option other than threading through packed defences.

Let's not defend the indefensible here. The players may have gone missing but Struber did an absolute Anne Frank. He showed a complete lack of ******** today and his standing mute during the drinks break summed up his pathetic performance

We get it Supertyke. You aren’t a fan of Struber. Despite the fact that he’s somehow kept us alive in a seemingly dead situation. The squad is not good enough. We could have Guardiola managing us and we would still be in the same position.

Stendel wouldn’t have made it any better despite how much you would love it to. I know you want Struber to fail to justify your hatred of the board, so hopefully your get your wish, but I promise you, there isn’t a manager in the world who would make this squad any better than what Gerhard is doing now.

I’m sure you would love us to fail under Struber as clearly you hate him and the board which is entirely your prerogative, but honestly I think it is absolutely batshit mental and a very short sighted view of the situation based on your opinion of the board.

I supported Struber’s decision to pick the same defence due to results but in my opinion Collins is better than Walton, Oduor is better than Ben Williams & Halme is better than Anderson.

Dougall should still be at the club & playing holding midfield with Mowatt on the left of the diamond who was superb there. As we haven’t got Dougall anymore & Halme’s needed at the back I’ll have to leave Mowatt sitting in front of the back four which frustrates me.

No start for Luke Thomas who other than taking advantage of a Fulham player slipping on the opening day has been a pretty dreadful signing up to now. Other than running a lot I couldn’t give a single strength to his game.

    Collins
    Ludewig Sollbauer Halme Oduour
    Mowatt
    Simoes Styles
    Woodrow
    Brown Chaplin

    Bench -
    Walton
    J. Williams
    Anderson
    B. Williams
    Ritzmaier
    Bahre
    Thomas
    Schmidt
    Marsh

Do you honestly believe all of that?

If the team had Dougall as holding midfielder freeing up Mowatt to play on the left of the diamond ahead of Ritzmaier we’d be worse?

If we played Halme instead of either Diaby or Anderson when they were in shocking form together we’d be worse?

How many starts has Ben Williams had over Oduor? Way too many for me.

I’m not saying Struber’s been a bad manager because he’s got some things right but on many occasions his team selection has been baffling. I’ve never seen a Barnsley player make as many mistakes in a season as Anderson & he plays him almost every game.

It’s annoying as I think if we can get over the line the squad should be far better with a year of championship experience under their belts. I also feel it’s the worst standard the championship’s been in a long time. It’s incredible to me that a team as average West Brom are sitting in an automatic promotion position

What was worrying to me was how many of our players looked scared of the ball. It only felt like there was Mowatt & then Styles when he came on who were comfortable in possession. The rest seemed to panic whenever they got the ball.

Chaplin kept trying daft first time flicks to Brown & Woodrow. Thomas & Simoes seemed to be in a competition as to who could set Stoke off on a counter attack the most with weak cross field passes.

I just wanted someone to get on the ball & run at a defender, Brown & Simoes can do that but didn’t, I wanted to see Woodrow have a go from the edge of box.

Other than Ludewig’s effort in the first half I can’t remember a single moment of quality from us in the match.

I'd definitely go for Collins, I rate Walton but he looked a bit shell shocked on Saturday, can't blame him for the goals but he did go on to make unforced errors, I'd just give him a break

As well as winning that Fulham game for us, I think his robbing of Jed Wallace at Millwall, taking the ball off him to put a great cross over for Schmidt to score was one of the highlights of the season. Also, his running from deep to assist goals against Hull and Charlton (home and away) spring to mind.

We’d never finish a game with 11 men on the pitch but it would be entertaining.

Started off with the core of the team of hard gits like Alan Little and Graham Pugh but couldn`t really think of any full-backs.
Could have picked Shez in the team I suppose.

    Any others?
