    Jesus.
Only two at the back? Against Leeds?

Our right sides player brown at left wing back?

    Luke Thomas playing central?

That line up had 9 nil written all over it

I'd have same XI but i'd put Halme in at DM and have Mowatt where Woodrow is and Brown on ring wing. Woodrow up front.

We do not have a cat in hell's chance of staying up though, sadly.

I’m just digging a hole and hiding in it for a month, because we going to get smashed 6 or 7,if Stoke can get 4 ,might as well put a team off this forum out there it won’t matter

Woodrow up front just frustrates me.

He’s always dropped very deep, but it seems that since he’s been played number 10, when he is back playing up front he’s now glued to the defenders. He needs a fluid role and number 10 is where he does that best, with 2 ahead of him, in my opinion.

Totally agree. With Simoes and Thomas to come on when legs are tired.

The actual team sheet will look nothing like any we see on here.

I dunno. We always seem to play better against teams at the top.

It’s the cloggers we can never play against.

Very true. Nobody’s got Ritzmaier in their team.
It will be Ritzmaier plus 10 others

I wouldn’t necessarily go this shape but we probably will, nor would I ideally want Brown up top, but he will do that too - so that in mind I’d go with this:

    Walton

    Sollbauer Andersen Halme

    Ludewig Oduor

    Simoes Mowatt Styles

    Brown Chaplin

    Subs

    Collins

Woodrow (reluctantly dropped, he’s been a passenger)

    B Williams

    J Williams

    Thomas

    Ritzmaier

    Bahre

    Schmidt

    Wolfe

How the hell does anyone perceive that we only have two at the back when they look at that line up !?!?!

That line up can quickly switch to 532 or 352 or 244 - it’s a very fluid formation depending on where on the field we have the ball or where on the field we don’t have the ball.

What’s important in the line up is that Halme is defensive midfielder/centre back - and Styles takes over from Mowatt - while Brown is put into his most effective position of wing back.

If Mowatt plays - we lose - and we are likely to lose badly.
Barnsley players continually look to him and he is far too slow releasing the ball.
Leeds players will walk all over Mowatt.
He needs to be replaced by Styles who drives forward and passes forward far more quickly.

Well do well to get two points from rest of games.
Three points we’ll have done very well four fantastically well but none of these good enough We down . We needed at least three more points from last three games just to stay in the mix .
Our finishing has been dire considering the chances we’ve had .

A team full of speed and attacking flair.
There are potentially SEVEN quick attacking players in this line up - while at the same time maintaining THREE tall solid defenders.

    ............................ Walton
    ................Sollbauer - Andersen
    Ludewig.............. Halme ...............Brown
    ..............Thomas - Styles - Simoes
    ......................Chaplin - Woodrow

So you are saying - 3 defenders in front of 2 defenders means that the line up has only 2 defenders !?!?!
    2+3 does NOT = 2
