The more i watch that tackle, the worse it gets, what makes it worse is the smirk on the lads face afterwards , he obviously thought he,d done something big and clever, the fa can rescind red cards retrospectively and they should be able to issue them retrospectively aswell, absolutely disgraceful...
Didn’t realise until someone said it yesterday he was the same ref that did the Blackburn game. Think he must have thought he got that sending off wrong, let the Wigan player off, realised he got that one wrong and then sent off the Wigan player for a yellow card offence later on. Again let down by officials but why are we surprised anymore.
The more you watch it (now that we know Ludwig is OK) the funnier it gets that the ref didn't send him off. We're always going to have this. We own it. We played a game where one of the opposition decided he wasn't interested in football anymore, he just fancied a bit of murder. He's probably not usually into murder, but for a few seconds there he thought he'd give murder a try. And boy did he adapt to murder very quickly. He took to murdering like a fat bloke takes to kebabs. He was all over murdering and he nailed it. Yet the ref still didn't send him off. One of the best murderers the country has ever nurtured took to murdering one of our players on a football pitch in front of a referee, and we still didn't get the decision. We own that. No one likes you Millwall? Give it a rest lads.
Peculiar that there was an equally bad challenge in the reverse fixture too. And that ended 0-0. Only, Ben Williams was rightly sent off.
I'd forgotten about that. That was a hell of a challenge from Ben. Not sure it was on the murdering scale, but it was close and he was rightly told to GTF off the pitch.
I didn't need to See it twice. Soon as I saw it first time knew it was a deffo red..... They got sent off for less in the 80s
It’s probably cost us the three points because i couldn’t have seen Wigan holding out for 70 minutes even against our attack.
he didn’t bottle it. He was incompetent. His 2 recent reds were both universally agreed as yellows and this one was a red. just a rubbish ref
I think he probably just wasn't paying attention and didn't want to say so, so he said something that made sense and then had to double down!
It’s not weird, I’ve mentioned this in Thread elsewhere, It’s about accountability,It doesn’t matter if you get it wrong, or don’t give teams like little old Barnsley the benefit of the doubt because there’s hardly any comeback from this. Get it right for the so-called bigger clubs, it’s easy. In other words Biased
