Had an holiday to benalmadena booked from last year and due to fly tomorrow

Just been on news that everyone arriving back from Spain from midnight tonight will have to self isolate for 14 days

Just hope jet 2 allow us to amend destination or recieve a refund

I take it that 14 days quarantine isn’t an option?

I completely understand the need for the quarantine, following the spike in cases in Spain. However.

I really feel for those currently in Spain who will now have to quarantine for 2 weeks upon returning, despite being told they wouldn't have to when they left. The government should have made it clear that the change was possible with little notice (although they have been hinting at this for about a week now).

These 'air bridges' were never a good idea. I wouldn't be surprised if the spike in cases is because of Brits going over there.

    I’ve never been to Jeopardy.

    Is it nice?

    Not one for France usually.

There's a global pandemic. I'd suggest staying at home might be advisable.
    Just saying like .

Must admit we like our holidays as much as the next family but I can’t see us going abroad for some time to come. Loads of folk at work desperate to get away are going to be disappointed. Its the kids I feel for.

The latest mess made by the government. They can see over the past couple of weeks what's been happening in Spain and pick today to do this when people are just setting off at the start of the six weeks holiday. They should have brought it in the other day.

Who's betting that a lot of them won't and will rationalise it to themselves by saying that wasn't the rule when they set off? Our school sent out an email to staff last week or so saying that any holidays booked after that email, that results in a quarintine in school time, will be classed as unauthorised absence, any booked before the email is fine as long as you can prove when it was booked.

We're in Spain right now too, down in Cadiz. Not relishing at all the thought of 14 days indoors when we return.

They told me at work that my job was in Jeopardy. I told them I didn’t want to work abroad

Going abroad now you have to realise that could happen at the drop of a hat. Ive no desire to jet off anywhere while there is a pandemic. Plain daft inho (pardon the pun).
