Did you read that little bit of wisdom on a lollipop stick? Of course you can put a value on a player, just like you can with a house or a car.

Probably means sticking all transfer rumours in the same thread and I'd agree. For example I think a fairly reliable website linking Brown to Brentford deserves a new thread so it's not lost in a big thread with silly speculation from Twitter accounts with a few hundred followers at best.

Ah I see. I don't mind it personally. Quite like the idea of checking "the rumours" thread. And folk will start new threads if something actually happens anyway.

I don't know much about horses, but I presume there's hundreds of things that go into valuing a house. Location, age, number of bedrooms etc.

How do you do that with a player? Do you believe that none of our players are worth more than £1.5m? Because I can guarantee if we sold, Woodrow, Mowatt, Brown or Chaplin this window, it'd be worth more than that site values them at.

People may not want to comment on every transfer rumours but if they are all in the same thread it's harder to avoid reading the nonsense rumours you want to avoid.

I'd just scroll past em if I didn't want to read em. Really don't see an issue here.

Yet Struber played him every game, at the cost of Woodrow and he was proven right so he obviously see's something that he likes.

Struber picked him for all the big games so he must fit his system

I don’t think we ever had a team of 11 round pegs in all the round holes.

Stuber was proven right? I think concentrating on the outcome and not the process is quite dangerous when we finished 3rd/4th bottom.

We might have finished 21st, but under Struber we were around 12th? And seemingly dead and buried before the restart. Credit where it's due!

Reckon Struber would be brilliant on Ready Steady Cook making something exciting from kholrabi, aubergine and a radish.

Not sure what the rabbi has done to deserve that treatment.

That’s some front three is that. But I don’t think Feynoord will let young Khol Rabbi go cheap.
