    Got a mind of their own. Not taking a knee doesn't make you racist and nobody should feel like they have to take one or they will be vilified.

    Its a choice not an obligation, so I don't see why it should be a problem

    I agree it doesn't make you racist. But I have yet to see a strong argument for why you would choose not to take a knee. It seems to be suggested on social media that this was also a club decision as opposed to an individual decision made by each player. Which I find odd.

    Absolutely right DB, it should be a choice and one should be free to do what they think is right without fear of being called racist or hounded on social media.

    The club wouldn't force the players into it !!! Risking
    alienating them as the season kicks off again, doesn't make any sense.
    Fuss over nothing in my opinion.
    The real talking point today was what turned out to be Wigan's winning try that appeared to drop short of the line.

    The problem I have with taking the knee is getting up again !! . The two Trinity players on the end look a bit uncomfortable , I don’t think for one minute they all decided individually to not take a knee . They are stood there as if they are facing the Haka, embarrassing

    I get why it's done even though if the George Floyd scenario had happened over here I doubt USA sports teams would be taking the knee for us. I just aren't a fan of campaigns in sport.

    Wakefield born and bred and so proud of Trinity, finally standing up for what most people believe and not listening to the left liberal brigade, who frankly make me sick. We live on a free country where we are free to make our own decisions, not have them made for us and be accused of racism if we disagree

    some of the organisations most vocal in support of the BLM movement are the ones many BAME people have issues with.
    We see the police 'taking the knee' at every opportunity yet the experience of many Black People is that they are discriminated against by the police - stop and search etc.
    Members of the Armed Forces will 'take the knee' yet many soldiers complain of racist abuse whilst in the forces.
    Sportsmen/Women 'take the knee' before sporting events yet in many instances the club they represent probably has very few BAME employees - the directors are probably all white - few BAME supporters.
    Look at BFC !

    How many who 'take the knee' would withdraw from a job interview if another candidate is from a BAME background etc?

    There is none but he seems to think it's racist to apply for a job if a black person wants it. Likewise you'll notice he says that a company having no name directors means the company can't or shouldn't support black lives matter etc.

    It's a twisted logic

    The civil liberties in having the right not to take a knee (which no one is seriously challenging)
    Versus the civil liberties of having the right to be treated equally, not violated, assaulted and in many instances murdered because of your skin colour.

    It's interesting to see where some people's priorities lie and what they are prepared to shout loudest about.
