A very old English bull terrier has escaped from it's home in another street and paid us a visit! He's done this before, but that was months ago. He's deaf and blind, but a brilliant escapologist! Anyway, he's somehow got out of their house and walked through our open back door. The owners aren't at home, so it appears we've got a new dog, for a short time anyway.
Nice one Lil. Make sure you look after him/her/it and obviously make sure that the one you return to the owners does not have more nipples than it had when they lost it. I simply cannot imagine what a dog senses when it is deaf and blind. We sponsored a blind and deaf dog called Dudley years ago who'd been abandoned on a beach somewhere as a puppy. Without trying to put human traits into the dog's situation it makes me feel so sad that something so sweet and innocent was left to its own devices not having a doggy clue what was happening. We humans can be right ********.
