    There are clearly supply issues with it for starters and also people are so retarded they can't use a surgical mask correctly or as certain posters have shown choose to apply their own rules to it by holding their breath... so how do you reckon they'll get on with half of those ones in your pic for Christ's sake?

    The stuff you keep insisting on posting is utterly ridiculous and it does a disservice to other posters who are against lockdowns but have more sensible rationales for their views... not taking it from the Sun, Karen off FB, or some random twitter account with four followers...

    Now you point it out I can see that exact scenario - I can imagine Boris standing up and proclaiming only 15000 new cases is so much better than the 50000 that would have happened if they hadnt closed the pubs at 10pm

    Today I beat my 5k PB time by 15 seconds. This is excellent news, as it means by October 12th I'll be able to beat Mo farrah, and by November 4th I'll have learned how to exploit a hole in the space/time continuum in order to finish before I've set off. This is Whitty Maths.

    Because they're ******* stupid, ineffective, and counter productive in how they influence overall public health. Apart from that though I agree, they should be supported.

    Indeed but as leader of the opposition he could have put forward some alternatives and amendments. He kept harping on about foresight and knowing that cold and flu season started in Autumn. I could have told him that. That isn't foresight.

    What could he have done differently instead of saying the government had "wasted the summer". Again an obvious statement that the country can agree with. A good leader would take advantage of this once he has the audiences ear.

    He didn't Andrew Marr ran rings round him.

    Wife just rang from Scarbados, massive queue at Morrisons Scarborough when she got in it was like March panic buying had started all over again. Selfish barstewards !! Why aren't supermarkets limiting purchases to prevent Karen buying up all the bog roll and tea bags so she can post how well she’s stocked on facebook. Anybody thinking of the old folk here ??

    A friend has just gone back to university. No masks. No restrictions. No reduced classes. Sitting shoulder to shoulder as always.

    With 21% of out of home cases in education and just 5% of out of home cases in pubs and restaurants. Where would you focus your energy to stop the spike?
