My daughter has been inconsolable at times this week. Geoff gave her so many opportunities to perform in lead roles at Take 2. She and her friends absolutely loved the guy. Big Barnsley fan also. RIP Geoff.
Lovely guy, time for everyone, always a smile and passionate about theatre, Barnsley FC and Disney World. RIP Geoff will miss sitting with you at Oakwell.
Lovely bloke forgot about his time spent with the whistle. I remember him telling me about his time with the flag on the lines at higher levels. Tommy Steele always springs to mind with his contagious smile. Put me on the stage almost 20 years ago at the Lamproom. Thanks Geoff. Was gutted when I found out and will be missed. I'm sure he's organising the mystery plays up there with some other greats that's passed away . RIP Geoff you have left a large void. X
Lovely man Geoff, played a massive part in my step daughter's success in musical theatre and his energy, imagination and his all round character has given children and adults alike a gateway into theatre, a very sad loss not just to Take2 academy, but to the town as a whole.
RIP Geoff . Is this the guy that checked your tickets on arrival to the Theatre ? If so was a lovely bloke and always time for a chat . If not I apologise for thinking that was him .
He did sometimes work front of house about 20 years ago before he left to form his own theatre at Birdwell. You wouldn't forget his smile and charm. He was a nice genuine tarn lad that supported reds too.
