Not as serious as first thought. Murray telling Doug O’kane. That he was in the dressing room at the end of the game.
Yeah, exactly. Wasn't Hume-y sat at his in-laws on Sunday afternoon when it got worse for him? Hopefully the head injury protocols are more advanced now.
Pretty sure the Club doctor would have examined him. And taking no chances he will be sent for a check up. Concussion ( if diagnosed) I believe, bars you playing for a period
Looked it up. For a pro footballer it’s a minimum of 6 days under enhanced care (for non pros its 3 weeks) so he could be back against Millwall if he has fully recovered by then Hopefully it’s not as serious as it first appeared. I’m sure that he will be well monitored
That’s for non pros not receiving enhanced care https://www.thefa.com/-/media/files/pdf/my-football/the-fa-concussion-guidelines-2019.ashx?la=en Look at page 16 of the linked document. On phone so can’t easily copy and paste the relevant bit
Not sure mate. Would imagine someone in an authoritative position. Eg Doctor/consultant. The document Farnham posted is the one I’ve copied a couple of pages from. It’ll be in there somewhere I’ve not read it all. Just what I thought was relevant.
Must have been a few Yorkshire puds, pints of Barnsley bitter and a few Barnsley chops that made our Solly indestructible..lol. Glad he is OK, looked horrible when the back of his head hit the ground.. COYR
The damage to me looked very much like whiplash - his shoulders hit the floor first causing his head to whip backwards, probably a stunning effect. Glad to hear he's walking around.
