As I've said previously. Riots on the streets before Christmas. It's coming and it's well deserved. Tory scum need stringing up. I did agree with Jamdrop recently that while Boris is a ***** he isn't as dangerous as trump. I changed my mind. The man needs a bullet
Going back in time you'd have to have started earning $1 a second in 1180BC* to have $100bn by 2020. It's taken Jeff Bezos just 35 years to amass $150bn * Historical note: this was just 4 years after the fall of Troy.
Not quite...if x amount of people ( in the same workplace for example) are Ill and test positive, they have to self isolate....if x amount of their colleagues subsequently feel ill the same happens....the snag is that others in the workplace may have caught it but do not show symptoms, in which case they carry on about their daily business with the risk of spreading the disease further. The obvious solution is to test everyone in the workplace...it does though need to be repeated as not everyone develops the disease early on. As it currently stands the testing stations in my area have almost 20% spare capacity...they should be being used now to reduce the outbreak where we can.
It's totally depressing. They are getting away with one thing after another. Absolutely scandalous. I really hope that this is the tipping point - as you say, the gloves need to come off.
There is an old Chinese legend about someone who did something for a King and asked for one grain of rice in the first square of a chess board, then double it for the second, and again for the third. The king agreed, but the final cost was more than the Kingdom had.
Can't speak. Too depressing for words. They've destroyed the country I loved. Thousands of people will lose their jobs and their lives. And people here have cheered them on all the way through, unable to see the devastation they've wreaked. ******* disgusting. ******* disgusting. ******* disgusting.
He announced tier 3 for Greater Manchester, then noted that news was to come on Yorkshire and the North East. They're crippling the North.
Van Tam talking about hard measures are needed. If it's that bad why don't you set an example and lose some weight you big fat cuunt. Two obese people pontificating about taking people out of the line of risk. How about you do your own health a favour and stay away from the sweet trolley?
TM I’m so sorry for your situation regarding your father. Can’t you just go and see him? Heartbreaking you can’t be seeing your dad in his final days
The hunt is still allowed for his mates though. Yorkshire want to refuse any deal just like Manchester did. Refuse refuse refuse. And if they force them like they have in Manchester then it should just be ignored. Ignored by Manchester, Yorkshire, Liverpool and the entire north. I honestly don't care if it's all out civil war. I'd cheer tomorrow if I heard boris was dead. I honestly would.
As much as I want them out of power, and as much as I agree that they are letting the people down with the way they are approaching the financial support. The fact is, there is a worldwide pandemic at the moment, and ignoring the restrictions will kill people in the North - both directly from Covid and indirectly as the NHS is overwhelmed. They might not care, but we damn well should. Look at Ireland - they announced a Level 5 lockdown yesterday, but the financial support package was still in place. France and Germany are the same. We might not like it, but this is likely to be around for 2-3 years and when conditions are such that people need to hunker down in a regional or national lockdown, the government should be providing a financial package to support that - announced immediately and available to anyone affected (individual or business) - which would make people much happier to comply - and save lives.
Honestly we are better off taking our chances with a virus like we do with all the other viruses than we are living under the rule of a fascist dictator
It might be a parody acount but usually its quite hard to spot So let me get this straight the government will only give 22miillion to Greater Manchester but then will operate a divide and rule trying to bribe indicidual councils with extra bonus top ups if they will break ranks and take it. Presumably hoping that the tory councils will fold And they have the nerve to accuse Burnham of playing politics I would just like to remind everyone a lot of people said vote anything but Tory I cant understand how they get so many votes
Professionally, I worked with a lot of Councils in Greater Manchester to unify their Energy demands. I used to commend them on their solidarity re- they very rarely broke ranks and tended to stick together in an attempt to maximise their high consumption levels in the hope of getting a collective low price according to their similar demand profiles. I hope they resist the Tories divide and rule tactics and send the Government on their way with a flea in their ear. To have any credibility going forward, they have to collectively stand cheek and jowl with Andy Burnham.
The whole North need to stand with Burnham, otherwise Jenrick will continue to play politics with people's lives. The cabinet are bent but that guy is on another level. Gove will say anything once he's had a line of white powder.
