Has always been better than watching porn. Tonight, the player who moved to left wing back to accommodate him, actually played as well as the God that is Matty James in the first half.

I know, QPR mullered us for 10 minutes in that first half, but they didn't worry our three centre halves at all during that period. And we stopped it. They had a man sent off, deservedly, but you've got to take advantage of that. And did we ever.

But tomorrow, when I spend the first half hour of the day talking to my line manager and we decide once again how we're going to conquer the world, I'm going to tell him that tonight I watched Callum Brittain play football and make it look like magic. What a fk*cing player he is. Good Heavens.

Genuinely a joy to watch some of our players when they're on form like tonight

Brittain looks some find though as you say

Totally agree about Brittain. No idea what he cost, but if less than a million, an absolute steal, and if more than a million, value for money still.

Absolutely Going to be a big player for us, but also how good was Styles particularly in the first half when the chips were still down?

If we had to endure Wiseman and McCarthy to finally get a proper attacking full back, I think it might just be worth it.

And styles still powering forward in the 91st minute looking like he’s just stepped out of the tunnel.

James, styles and brittain looked top draw. Our passing improved like 200% when james came on too.

I’m sure I remember £250k being mentioned at the time, but I could be wrong. Can’t find any articles with it now.

All three of the players mentioned were brilliant. As much as I like Oduor and I prefer styles playing centrally, we have to start with a midfield four of Styles, Mowatt, James and Brittain. God knows where arguably our player of year so far (Williams) and our big money signing (Kane) fit in.

    Harsh on Palmer, too.

Not a bad problem to have I suppose, but there’s about 14 players that I’d struggle to leave out right now.

Forgot about Palmer. Although I can see the logic in introducing him gradually and perhaps giving him game time in the cup comps. Guess Williams could also be used in a back three if we need a bit more pace at the back. Struggling to see where Kane plays at min though.

I'd have still preferred not to have endured Wiseman, but hey I can't be greedy and have everything
