Nudger's response needs to be shown to the government, reason 1 why underpaying officers and reducing training is a bad idea. Not everyone can do the job, it's a vocation not a fill in job.

Are you referring to me here? Because if you are then it’s a coincidence you should mention the Iranian Embassy Siege. I wasn’t there - but mi brother was. Imperial University is at the rear of that embassy. He took photos - that were in the Daily Mail.
I've spoke with ex colleagues and viewed the horrible footage. Its screams of lack of experience and training. Unfortunately folk hate the police, throw in football tribalism and it gets nasty. You know its coming, sticks and stones and all that. If any yobs start causing issues with non football folk, you have a word. If it fails you up the energy a bit, and continue until maybe batons are needed. A baton is the last resort, same with sprays and taser. No one was at risk from what I could see just the usual gobbing off and Liam Gallagher impressions.

Yep. And I only post a small percentage of them - as there are some rather sensitive snowflakes on here that seem to get wound up very very easily.
