I was queuing on the road outside on my way to wombwell and noticed a LOT of cars queuing to McDonald's so decided to count. 21 cars in the drive thru queue all the way back to the roundabout. Jesus
i went passed last thursday about 11-45 on the way to tesco and the queue was just about to the r/bout
No but I was a little surprised at just how many people there were mainly because of get too frustrated sat waiting for the length of time it takes to serve that many cars. Plus I'd much rather give my money to the independent cafes and takeaways that are at risk of going under
Saw the same last week. Cars having to divert round others after getting stuck at back of queue . An accident waiting to happen. It needs sorting.
The number of people ignoring the left turn only rule when exiting the one on New Street is staggering.
There were still half a dozen cars queuing out onto the road at Stairfoot when I drove past at around 8pm.
How do you support a local business when they cant open due to the stupid measures placed by the Government because the industry is an easy target? THe stupid thing is McDonalds' want you to use the drive thru as opposed to sit in!
There’s a coffee and bagel shop in Wakefield and he’s stayed open for takeaways. You can go in the cafe and get a takeaway. He’s getting my business for keeping going, plus is totally Independent.
There is in town, the vast majority though rely on footfall. There isnt any. Ill take some pictures over the weekend, early afternoon time of how busy it isnt.
Especially when they are waiting for a few minutes it’s quicker to go to the roundabout and back down then it is to wait to go right
