Thank god its match day. This has felt like the longest international break ever. Good recent home record vs Forest - 4 wins out of 5 in all competitions. 8 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats this century. But... We're yet to defeat a Chris Hughton side, losing 4 out of 6. Forest have lost just once in his first 7 games in charge, and all of their 12 league points have come in that time. The two weeks off will certainly have benefitted us. It will have given Valerien the time to get his ideas across to the players, and given the players that much needed break. Especially with Woodrow and Brittain returning to fitness. Matty James has played a lot of football recently too, after only playing 13 games since he was last here on loan, so the break will have done him good too. I reckon this will be a close one, I'm going for a 1-1 draw.
Agreed it has seemed a long break. I had a nosey on their forum and someone posted a O -O win! Hopefully not, I'm going for 2- 1 with quite a few heart in the mouth moments.
I'm hoping that the players have had time to rest up and that Valerien and the coaching staff have been able to get a few more ideas into the players and the systems. That said, I think I'll be happy with a draw today, so 1-1
Had a nosey on their forum: They're all quite confident (some may say arrogant) about their chances. Also, Tykes comes from our town's proud history of making bike tyres? That's a new one on me? https://www.forestforum.co.uk/threa...ey-v-Nottingham-Forest-21-11-2020-15-00/page4
