He's been involved and I actually really like him as a player, he would certainly be in my squad but I just think we could do with someone to challenge that starting 11 spot

Great game that. I don’t get the negativity.

Chances for both teams. Bit scrappy at times. A wonderful goal to see. Hit the bar 3 times. Good saves. Great subs from VI. Win for the Reds.

    Original Ops post was dire...

Great win, should have had more. Glad we lifted the crossbar up a couple of foot at half time.
Big shout out to the reds today for a solid performance, conditions not great but happy with that. Hopefully a load of pressure off Woody now as well.

Another big shout out to the regular doom mongers on the BBS who week in and out slate the board and say we can't compete in this league.

    "This game is dire" ???????

What do some people want. That was a much better Forest test than the previous two against them and we matched them in every department and, finally, killed them off with two superb goals. It should have been 5-2 to us to be fair but I'll take that.

Well done Reds. I just LOVE watching this team :):):):):)

We started slowly but once we got going it was a good end-to-end game for me.

Now now let's not pick on anybody on a day when we've competed wonderfully and eventually overcome a side that no doubt cost millions more than ours to put together.

Second half I thought we were composed and just as likely to win it.

In particular I often give Chaplin a hard time but he was superb today.

Plus the coach isn't playing it vertically, in the sense of just hoofing it up front. We were great at keeping the ball at times.

    Happy days!!

Decent game for me, I thought we played some decent football and apart from a scrappy start to the second half it was entertaing.

Would've loved to watch that game in person. Poor defending at times but that added to the drama. Great game and a good performance against a tough opposition.

Even Kammy on Sky said it was a great game when it was 0.0

Today's game was my favourite game under the new manager. We beat a good side and had to compete throughout but we deserved the win Well done lads.

Each win adds confidence within the setup. Look a different side to pre lockdown reds.
Staying up last season by whatever means has matured these players and adding the likes of James, Helik & Brittain has been fantastic in my opinion. If we can tie Mowatt down for at least 1 additional year and keep the Wolves from the door come the winter transfer window and no injuries to key players, it will be great to see just what these players are capable of. I'm not getting carried away but every team looks beatable in this division at the moment and who knows where we could be come the end of the season. I think we have players like Kane who have more to give yet but needs game time. Under this coach Victor looks to have been given a new lease of life, lets hope he can prove himself.

I'm a happy red this evening. We're by no way the finished article but we look 100% a championship team at the moment.

It was a pleasure to watch the game today. There will be ups and downs I'm sure but the signs are that we have a very good young team
