Twittered when we started to win, now nothing.
He's either taking it for granted or it's not part of his plan for this type of success !

Maybe because he got so much stick for posting when we won.

I think our owners are getting unfair criticism. We’re in best position we have been in for years.

got a decent team on long term contracts. First time in years we managed to convince one of our top players to stay.

hopefully we can have a couple of seasons in mid table add to what we have and keep our manager.

but no doubt if we start finishing bout 8th-12th in league folk will start moaning we not in playoffs :)

Probably sick of the abuse he gets on twitter for only tweeting when we win.

I find the abuse he gets on Twitter a shameful representation of our town and fan base.

He’s essentially been trolled into no longer posting. It’s embarrassing that it has got to that point.

Spot on, they have a long term plan but unfortunately not many have the patience. Its now all their team on their contracts, extending Woodrows contract is a huge turning point l feel and I'm sure Mowatt will sign soon. Hopefully a good finish this year will encourage players to sign in the future and we may see us move onto the next stage of the recruitment plan.

I get the impression that Barnsley FC isn't that important to him in terms of the football so I expect the next tweet to be end of the season.

Whilst I agree entirely with what you've said, I don't think it's exclusive to our fan base, but is an indictment of society in general now.

You get it all the time, a social media account will give praise to one thing, and the comments section is full of people complaining that another thing also deserves praise.

For example, last weekend after Lewis Hamilton won his 7th world title, the official F1 Instagram page posted 10 slides basically of sports persons who are considered the best ever in their profession. There was Hamilton and Schumacher, Ronaldo and Messi, Serena Williams, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, Tiger Woods etc. Rather than comments praising the names mentioned, the comments section was full of people asking why they hadn't included Ayrton Senna, Sebastian Loeb and Novak Djokovic. You can't even mention Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo now, without someone saying the other one is better.

Social media seems to bring the worst out of people, because they know there's no repercussions for their actions.

Whenever I’ve seen twitter mentioned it’s usually because it brings the worst out in people, some of our fans who use it aren’t the cleverest either (or there’s a lack of thought) it seems so it’s quite a toxic combination. I’m quite sure every club is the same however across all sports.

Better be careful....this thread is looking dangerously like a happy clapper thread.

I don't think you're right there Helen. At least I hope you're not right. I still think they're committed to our club at the moment, things are a little sticky at this time with the land ownership wrangling's, but we don't know the full story, so we can't make an opinion really

I disagree, I believe we can make an opinion and if our owners believe they have information that will change our opinion then the onus is on them to provide that information. It isnt my responsibility to suddenly believe the word of people known to have mislead me in the past just because they said to. It's entirely up to them to convince me I should.

Yes. Did that great goal make Paul Conway more honest? I don't see the correlation.

The last time we played we had someone telling us we cannot mention politics after a win, now we cannot mention our owners lack of integrity. I just wish someone would compile a full list of what is and isn't acceptable to say following a fantastic win and how long the period of censorship lasts because I'll be honest with you, in finding it easier to follow Boris Johnsons ever changing rules these days.

I'm not on about the club its their investment so I'm sure they do want to make money from it, thats why they're businessmen. I'm on about how well we're playing or not playing. Tbh, we could be a netball or a cycling team and he'd probably have the same interest.
