Unlikely, but if there was to be someone, it would have to be someone that went under the radar, someone like Jordan Williams. Otherwise, Mowatt might decide he likes living close to training enough to stay. But ultimately, I'd say the most likely are still unlikely.
I think the Mowatt situation is complex. He’s obviously happy here, but would like more money. But it appears that his agent has been unable to get another club interested enough to force us to raise our offer high enough to satisfy him. this game of chicken comes to a head in January; where even if no one is sniffing, Mowatt will know he can command a better salary elsewhere in the Summer as a free agent, and the club will want to get him to sign so that they’re due compensation should he leave.
just wanted to see who was above Woodrow to be honest... but another stat i'd be interested to know is how many individual goalscorers have we had?
674 if you exclude opposition players (own goals). This is in first class competitions so excludes non-league, friendlies, war leagues and things like the sheffield cup or the yorkshire cup.
That was restrained behaviour for Mad Mel. His usual plan was to convert everyone tall into a centre half, and everyone small and fast into a full back.
What about the legendary Barry Murphy? Record appearance holder with 598 games!! How could you forget. him????
I didn't realise he played in the Clarke/Machin era ;-) Though Jooa was still around for Clarkes second spell.
He probably hasn't, but DWLC was talking about since the Machin/Clarke era the loyalty has decreased and there has only been a handful of payers making over 200 apps
