Not pressing high enough up the field.

    Brentford love to play backwards

We need to get ball on the deck.

Ball not sticking when it does go forward.

    Given ball away too easy.

    Solid at the back.

As someone who has missed the first half, that’s actually a useful summary lol

He presses but not too high, the front 3 hold off and start pressing whe the ball comes in to midfield, the forwards and midfielders press together. Definitely a change in how we play and makes us more compact.

AGree with that. We need to try and push up a bit more, so that when we get the ball back we've got numbers in midfield to counter. It's just coming straight back

Brentford are a class side....and i think we trying to press them from halfway and force them to knock it long (which suit us). Just hope they dont work it through us, with their better quality.
    Ill take 0.0 please.

They spread play wide to get round us bt nah we've got to grips wi it ther pumpin high balls in to no effect..
they've nullified our centre mid creativity so wer trying to go over em and their defence is sweeping up..
    55/45 to them at present..
although their 1st touch and control is betta.

The passing's too hurried, giving possession away to easily. I'd bring on Victor for Frieser and Kane pretty soon for Matty James, who's had little involvement yet..

For me, the important thing is that we get something tonight re- a draw at least, because
without sounding negative, with Blackburn two up away at Preston tonight, I can't honestly
see us coming away from Ewood Park with any points on Saturday afternoon.

Spoke too soon. To make things worse Ivan Toney.!
