Gosh,it was a surprise reading that,I didn't realise things were so bad. If I remember correctly, when Frank Lampard was there,he brought in a few loan players, they haven't strengthened since. Also, didn't they reach the play off final and lose by the odd goal.
Guessing we are all Wycombe fans on Saturday - actually I would love Wycombe to stay up Wednesday Derby and Birmingham going down would be sheer perfection - though Birmingham look to be doing ok at the moment
It would be pretty good. The other one I would add to the list is Millwall, maybe replacing Derby to go down
I'm happy with the bottom three as it is. I'd like us to stick a few more wins on board up to Christmas and have a cushion of about 9 points in January.
9 points in not nearly enough though mate. You saw what can happen in 9 games at the end of the season, 7 points behind safety and stayed up.
I'm rooting for Wycombe too And Coventry. Agree with your choices as they are all "too big to go down"
As long as three teams are below us in may I’m not too concerned who they are. If they happen to include Wednesday, derby, great. If they include what I’d consider to be properly ran clubs, say Wycombe, Coventry, Rotherham, even Luton, I’d feel for them and their fans - but wouldn’t lose much sleep.
Wayne Rooney has left himself out of the side for Derbys game against Wycombe tomorrow as he's been given the job of selecting the team in conjunction with newly appointed Technical advisor Steve McLaren. The Midlands club will shortly be under new ownership and Rooney who has nigh on 850 competitive games on his record, has said that if he's lucky enough to be appointed as full time Coach, he doesn't believe you can combine playing with coaching, so likely as not, he would hang his boots up.
