Wouldn't call Carrow road small to be fair. I watched Northern Ireland the other day and they had about 1500 in Windsor park and they made a decent racket.
Probably the same way you feel about being on the same side as Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock, Piers Morgan, Dominic Raab, Nadine Dorries etc etc
It’s amazing; you cut my post so that you can look superior, who do you think it impresses? I have a mate who’s a senior consultant anaesthetist, several nurses, a paramedic as well as some care home staff. They all have the same opinion of infection control. In attempting to appear smart, it just turns out as smart ar5ed. None of the incredibly intelligent people I know need to tell people how qualified or smart they are; it’s obvious as soon as they open their mouth. Your posts about qualifications remind me of that kid on here who insisted he was a successful businessman and was therefore superior to us all. Laughable
You will not attend a game this season. Any slight chink of light you see about getting to a game at Oakwell, forget it. While ever Barnsley is tied in with Rotherham and Sheffield we'll remain T3 until the summer.
Because they have large areas where there are multi generational/multiple families living on top of each other in cheap cramped housing plus Sheffield has the massive influx of students to return at the new year. All of which is perfect tinder for viral spread. At one point I would have said the same about Barnsley especially around the Kingstone Ward however, its not quite the crowded melting pot it used to be. Thankfully.
Didn't they used to have a carnival back in t'day at Kingstone? Some cracking roti on offer from the stalls too. Halcyon days. Been a while since I've been round there I'm guessing it's full of "whitey's“ now by your post?
Kingstone Ward which encompassed the area from the train tracks to most of Worsborugh followed by Central and my stomping ground Old Town were where the vast majority of migrants settled in Barnsley be it Poles Latvians etc. Cheap housing... Be it big Victorian properties split into flats HMOs or a back to back terraced property. Youll struggle for a Roti but a Sarmale wouldnt be too difficult to come by.
Lowest cases in North Wales is Gwynedd/Bangor - a town with a population that is nearly 50% students - significantly higher than Sheffield, Leeds or Manchester. Students are not necessarily the cause.
Suits me fine. For as long as my £159 season ticket gives me free access to home games online I’m happy. I’ve got used to not travelling down the A1/M1 alternate Saturdays and it’s going to take a big effort to get me travelling again. I’m out of the country anyway and could be so for 3 or 4 months so I’ll carry on enjoying my computer football for as long as it lasts. If things are back to normal next August I’ll probably join the herd converging on Oakwell, or at least I THINK I will. Nothing is certain in life any more.
The areas in sheffield that spiked were tradditional student areas. Shared houses. Shared communal areas...
