Let's be fair, anything that ever landed on Regis' head went in any direction randomly. There was no intent on his part. Though I will concede it was probably the shock that the ball went within 30 yards of a red shirt that led to Witleys brain embellism.

lol mate, just having a laugh. Best I'd got for Dave Regis.

Was it M'Voto that headed the ball like that? went in any direction when defending

I think it might have been.

I'd say he should be on the list too, but there was a unique comedy value with him and his goal where he seemed to skittle the defenders like 10 pin bowling was joyous for its ridiculousness.

He's got a way with words, our Tom - “The gaffer has got a great diverse stylisation within his staff. You’ve got himself, who’s got his philosophies and the way that he wants to play, he drills that into the players and he’s very paramount about that."

Paul Gibbs has always looked out for our results after leaving us. He enjoyed his time here but it just never worked out. He accepted that he didn't perform to the standard he knew he could and says for some reason while we had good players we just didn't perform well enough throughout

Funny, I can't quite remember the award-winning Australian actor and star of various Avengers and other movies playing left back for us. But then, my memory isn't what it was. :)

Bet he was better than Paul Gibbs, though.

Gibbs was the worst player I've ever seen in a reds shirt. He's also clearly a fruit loop, so ultimately he's one of the only ex reds I'd blank if I met him. I've bought many ex reds pints and had a chat with about games they played.

Can't imagine speaking with him, " remember the time you fell asleep at a corner again and cost us another goal?"
"Can you remember the time you again slid in and missed a tackle when you were last man instead of jockeying the forward until you had support?"
"Can you remember the time when you put in 15 crosses during a game where I was more likely to get on the end of it sat at the back of the Ponte End, than Rory Fallon was?"

    Forgot about Mattis

I'd chuck O'Neill Thompson in too. Didn't he get subbed off in the first half cause he was that bad? Or am I thinking of someone else

Mike Pollitt has to be the worst Barnsley signing ever. I can't think of a signing that even comes close to competing with that

Voted Stockport’s greatest ever player, wasn’t he?

Makes you wonder how bad the others must have been. Truly awful. Can’t think of a worse centre half. Though Jimmy McNulty runs him close.
