Bit hard when he's not on the pitch.

Schmidt is now 6th choice striker

Woodrow, Chaplin, Thomas, Frieser, Adebjeyo, Miller then Schmidt.

He has had enough time on the pitch, runs around alot and shoots from.every angle.

Needs arresting for fraud. Impersonating a footballer must be a criminal offence

Im sure he'll be on his way out as soon as we can get a striker or two in.
I think the Cardiff game did for him.

I don’t think he’ll leave, but he needs to further his game. Tbf he admitted that in the programme the other week.

But let’s be fair - Schmidt was signed for the role he does - but the team plays in a completely different way. Not the player’s fault. Leave Schmidt in the box all the time, and he’ll do well. Out of that, he’s still learning.

Fair comments and I've certainly got nothing against him but I can still see him being moved on when we can bring in replacements.
I just don't think he suits how we play.

Said it before with schmidt he can finish a chance in the box but apart from that he hasnt got a shot from distance that can beat a keeper, he cant beat a defender, he isn't big or strong enough to win a aerial battle with a defender, he doesnt hold the ball up well. The problem with him is we cant afford a passenger for 90minutes in the hope a ball drops to his feet in the box.

Behind woodrow, victor and chaplin. And should be fighting for a sub place with miller and freezer

Nottingham Forest 94th minute winner to take us to last game of season with a chance of staying up.

Payed most of his 600k fee back that day.

Wonder how many of you lot cheered that goal.

Bit pathetic to slate a player who hasn’t even kicked a ball today. Pi55es me right off does this the amount of **** some players get on here.

No wonder Mads Anderson has played so well without fans being in Oakwell.

Keep Oakwell shut, we'll stay up then.

    This is bang on.

I feel like Mads is always so close to being the whipping boy. He has a lot of solid games but makes a mistake and there’s multiple threads about him and many slagging him.

    One moment?

Squaring the ball for Clarke Odour in the Brentford away game.

    Millwall away winking header?

You remember the poor performances tho.

I really hope this guy goes on to prove most of u wrong but guess his confidence would be shot to ***** if ever he reads this board.

Pathetic this every game we lose. Always some poor fecker from playing squad that gets it on here.

One of reasons I hardly post anymore. Full of nuggets

Wish I could make a career out of one goal and one assist. Perhaps I could still make it as a professional player

Injury time winner against Millwall away. Set up the winner on the last game of the season at Brentford. That's 4 points he won for us last season, plus an integral part of one of the iconic moments in our history that will live with us forever

Yup. The Millwall and Forest goal, along with the Brentford assist pays for his fee alone.

I get the frustration - but it’s not the lad’s fault. He’s being asked to play a style he’s never done. The pressing game isn’t for everyone - takes a lot to do it. Can he do it? Maybe not - doesn’t make him a bad striker though.

Could Peter Crouch play the pressing game? Nope. But would you have signed him in his prime? Absolutely.
