Chuffing hell Wednesday fans. "Down" already. They seem to have turned on Pullis already....after one week. And they play us soon which is guarantied to kick start their season.
"We're going to have to scout, look at lower leagues and give them a chance" ..... blow me mate, let's try just pay £100m on a players like Rhodes.
Whatever the sound of a football team failing to score is, has always been da sound of da Pulis. (Feel free to refresh this in a couple of weeks, when Tom Lees has turned into Messi for the afternoon.)
We'll never score 10 against them. Some act of god always seems to happen to stop us scoring against them lol
Luton's manager wasn't much better about his own players today - he was right though - we were utterly shocking, lucky to get away with 4-0 - 10-0 would not have been unreasonable. We have to play out of our skin to win a game, really well to get a draw and then about every fourth or fifth game we are like a non league team Watch | Nathan Jones' reaction to Cardiff defeat - News - Luton Town
I don’t mind getting turned over when we’re awful. That happened to us at Cardiff recently too. It’s when we play ok, have more of the chances and still get beat that it hurts! There are several Blackburn fans on another of our forums (well a Facebook page) telling us how good we were and unlucky etc. Still a loss in the record book. Your boys will be ok Pelly I reckon.
Maybe, I think it is best to say we are very fragile and don't cope with forwards with a bit of physical. We played out of our skins to get a draw with Blackburn last week, they looked very dangerous and good, second only to Brentford. Hard to tell with Cardiff 'cause we were so *****! I agree though, playing well and losing is the worst, had that against stoke when we had 17 shots to there 2 on target and 19 corners to their 4 and still lost
It is worse when that happens. Usually the icing on the cake for that sort of defeat is a helping hand from the ref.
